Cookie policy
1. Cookies and other trackers
A cookie or other tracker reads or writes information on your device. The rules governing it depend on its purpose: a mechanism strictly necessary for the requested service differs from an advertising tool or audience measurement that requires consent. Read the CNIL's explanations.
2. When you open the website
Website language. On a first visit, the country estimated by AWS from the IP address is used to select the language, with the browser language as a fallback. The language endpoint returns only a country code; its code does not return or log the IP address. Your manual choice takes priority and is stored in this browser’s local storage (localStorage) for 365 days after your last selection, without a visitor identifier. You can change it with the language selector or clear it in your browser settings. This choice is not sent to the audience measurement collector.
Presentation videos are served from the Manu website. The website does not embed a YouTube or Vimeo player for these demonstrations.
Manu uses audience measurement limited to daily counters: viewing a page group, using a button, playing a video or reaching a step in a demo request. The browser sends only an event type, page group and button placement, chosen from predefined lists. These counters help us understand website use and improve its operation, solely on behalf of Manu.
The collector is hosted on AWS in the Paris region. It does not retain names, emails, patient data, form content, full page addresses, campaign parameters, visitor identifiers, IP addresses or browser fingerprints in the counters. Technical information needed for transmission, including the IP address, is processed by the network infrastructure; it is not recorded by the collector code. Counters are not combined with contacts or Manu or Théra accounts, nor used to track an individual across multiple websites. They measure events, not unique visitor numbers or subscriptions.
When a campaign link contains UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content or term), the website stores them in the tab's session storage (sessionStorage). They preserve the visit's source during navigation and populate links to registration or demo requests. This local storage is separate from events kept in page memory and any transmission of those events to a collector.
Accessing the website involves the network exchanges and technical logs needed for its delivery and security. Related information is covered by the privacy policy.
3. When you book a demonstration
On the Contact page, the Calendly module is loaded after submitting the demo request form. The name, email and context entered are sent to prefill the calendar. Do not enter any patient data in this sales enquiry.
The calendar is a third-party service that may use its own cookies or technical mechanisms. Calendly's information and choices apply within this module. See its privacy policy. You can also contact the team directly by email to arrange a demonstration without loading this calendar.
4. Your choices
You can manage cookies and website data in your browser settings. Blocking some technical mechanisms may prevent the calendar from working. For choices specific to Calendly, use that service's settings.
You can disable audience measurement below. This choice applies to future events in this browser. It is saved locally, without an identifier, solely to respect your preference. Your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are also respected. If the saved preference cannot be read, no event is sent to the collector.
The audience measurement setting appears when JavaScript is available.
The measurement described here does not store an audience identifier or reconstruct individual journeys. It is limited to website usage statistics, without targeted advertising or combination with other processing. The conditions for limited audience measurement are presented by the CNIL.
5. Retention
Aggregate counters are retained for 90 days and excluded from reports when they expire; technical deletion is asynchronous. Any technical collector logs are retained for 7 days. The collector code does not write received events or form data to them.
Events kept only in page memory disappear with their browsing context. Campaign parameters stored in sessionStorage remain available during the tab's browsing session, depending on the browser's behaviour. They are excluded from data sent to the audience measurement collector. The local opt-out preference remains saved until measurement is re-enabled or your browser's website data is cleared. The duration of any calendar mechanisms depends on the third-party service and your choices within it; no single duration is assigned here to all cookies.
